Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra 2012 Shanghai Concert

The Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra is a symphony orchestra of the Netherlands, based at the Concertgebouw (concert hall) in Amsterdam. In 1988, Queen Beatrix of the Netherlands conferred the "Royal" title upon the orchestra. In December 2008, a group of top critics invited by Gramophone ranked the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra as the top symphony orchestra in the world. The orchestra enjoyed a close relationship with Gustav Mahler and championed many of his symphonies, with an especially worthy festival of his music being the 1920 Mahler Festival. Other conductors who worked closely with the Concertgebouw Orchestra included Pierre Monteux, Eugen Jochum, George Szell and Kiril Kondrashin, who was the Permanent Guest Conductor from 1978 to 1981. More recently, Nikolaus Harnoncourt was named Honorary Guest Conductor of the KCO in 2000.
Nigel Kennedy 2012 Asian Tour Shanghai Concert

Nigel Kennedy is a British born violinist and violist. He made his early career in the classical field, and he has performed and recorded most of the major violin concerti. He later included jazz, klezmer and other genres in his repertoire. In 2000, he has recorded Riders on the Storm: The Doors Concerto (with Jaz Coleman), a violin based orchestral version of many Doors songs, including "Strange Days", "LA Woman", "The End", and "Riders On The Storm". And, on the 27th of November, Kennedy joined rock group The Who at the Royal Albert Hall to play the violin solo on the song "Baba O'Riley", released three years later on the album Live at the Royal Albert Hall. Kennedy has played on several tracks by British singer/songwriter Kate Bush, who was a guest on Kennedy's episode of This Is Your Life.
David Garrett Rock Symphonies

Garrett was born in Aachen, Germany. He is the youngest soloist at the age of 14 and he was invited to perform at the BBC Proms at the age of 21. In February 2008, NBC aired The Top 100 Guinness World Records of All Time and Guinness World Records made the complete list available on their website. Effectively the dreadlock can become an extension and therefore impossible to adjudicate accurately. It is for this reason Guinness World Records has decided to rest the category and will no longer be monitoring the category for longest dreadlock. His some displays are dramatic, like the statues of the world's tallest and shortest people, or videos of records being broken, much of the information is presented simply with text and photos. He also appeared on the 2011, The Royal Variety Performance playing his cover of Nirvana's, Smells Like Teen Spirit. He joined the 9th annual Independent Music Awards judging panel to assist independent musicians' careers.

Bobby McFerrin was born in Manhattan, New York City, As a vocalist, McFerrin often switches rapidly between modal and falsetto registers to create polyphonic effects, performing both the main melody and the accompanying parts of songs. He makes use of percussive effects created both with his mouth and by tapping on his chest. For example, the concerts often end with McFerrin conducting the orchestra in a cappella rendition of the "William Tell Overture," in which the orchestra members sing their musical parts in McFerrin's vocal style instead of playing their parts on their instruments. In 1988, McFerrin recorded the hit song "Don't Worry, Be Happy", which brought him widespread recognition across the world. He is a unique and talented musical magician.
Valery Gergiev and London Symphony Orchestra Concert

The London Symphony Orchestra is widely regarded as one of the world's leading orchestras. Since its formation in 1904, it has always attracted excellent players from all over the world. The LSO is proud to be Resident Orchestra at the Barbican in the City of London and has thrived on the stability its permanent home has offered since 1982. The LSO's roster of soloists and conductors is second to none, including LSO President Sir Colin Davis and Principal Conductor Valery Gergiev. Valery Gergiev born in Moscow, studied conducting with Ilya Musin at the Leningrad Conservatory. Aged 24 he won the Herbert von Karajan Conductors Competition in Berlin, As Principal Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra since January 2007, Valery Gergiev performs regularly with the LSO at the Barbican, the Proms and Edinburgh Festival. In 2003 he led St Petersburg's 300th anniversary celebrations and became the first talented Russian conductor to do so since Tchaikovsky conducted the Hall's inaugural concert in 1891.
Yo-Yo Ma & The Silk Road Ensemble Concert

Yo-Yo Ma was born in 1955 to Chinese parents living in Paris. He began to study the cello with his father at age four and soon came with his family to New York. Later, his principal teacher was Leonard Rose at the Juilliard School. The Silk Road Project is a nonprofit arts and educational organization with a vision of connecting the world's neighborhoods by bringing together artists and audiences around the globe. Founded by cellist Yo-Yo Ma in 1998 as a catalyst to promote innovation and learning through the arts, the Silk Road Project takes inspiration from the historic Silk Road trading routes as a modern metaphor for multicultural and interdisciplinary exchange. The Silk Road Ensemble is a collective of internationally renowned performers and composers from more than 20 countries. Each Ensemble member's career responds to one of the preeminent artistic challenges of our times: to maintain the integrity of art rooted in authentic traditions while nourishing global connections.

The Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra, in German Symphonieorchester des Bayerischen Rundfunks is the internationally renowned orchestra of the Bayerischer Rundfunk (Bavarian Radio), based in Munich, Germany and founded by Eugen Jochum in 1949. Many renowned conductors, such as Sir Colin Rex Davis, Lorin Maazel, have left indelible imprints on the Symphonieorchester in the past. Since 2003, the orchestra's chief conductor is Mariss Jansons, who was named 'Conductor of the Year' in 2011 by the German journal Opernwelt. Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra is an internationally renowned orchestra that was named the 6th best orchestra in the world by The Gramophone magazine in 2008. The orchestra owes its extraordinarily wide repertoire and sound spectrum to the program preferences of its previous chief conductors as well as to the great flexibility and solid stylistic security of each individual musician.
